Sometimes innovation begins with remembering.
By the early 2000s, colostrum research existed mainly in specialized academic circles. But ARMRA® Founder & CEO Dr. Sarah Rahal, a pediatric neurologist trained in environmental health and quantum biology, witnessed a rising prevalence of modern-day health issues and diminished resilience, in young individuals in her practice and across the research landscape.
This led her to explore the science of environmental inputs, cellular communication, and evolutionary nutrition. In colostrum research, she found recurring themes: support for gut integrity, immune signaling, and barrier function. These were foundational systems affected by modern stressors.
“I kept asking why the human body, which evolved to adapt, was struggling in the environment it created,” she explains.
Her deeper investigation, made personal by her own near-fatal health crisis, revealed that many of the bioactive nutrients in colostrum play roles in cellular coordination and barrier support. She saw it not as a single-purpose ingredient but as a concentrated source of molecular guidance for systems that regulate digestion, immunity, and more.
